Our Accommodation
Melvin House has 24 bedrooms (all en-suite : some with stall showers and others with baths which have overhead shower fittings) The rooms vary in shape and size but all are comfortable equipped.
Our four poster bedroom is a much requested larger room enjoying full view of Edinburgh Castle. The en-suite is smaller but perfectly equipped
We have 4 smaller rooms with double or twin beds which are available for budget stays or for single occupancy. The twins have sloped celling with velux windows facing the Castle and doubles are cosy "petites chambres" with lovely outlook to the Dean Village

10 standard - sized rooms offer good accommodation and excellent value:
rooms have either one double bed or two twin (single) beds, television, hairdryer, tea/coffee facilities, excellent toiletries and many other thoughtful extras. The windows have outlook either towards Dnum -sheugh Gardens with Edinburgh Castle behind (3rd & 4th floors) or to the Dean Village with the Firth of forth and the Kingdom of Fife in the background (3rd & 4th floors).
4 larger Superior bedrooms offer one double bed and one single bed, superior furnishings and lots of extra space
3 Master bedrooms are very large and have fabulous outlook, en-suite bathroom wth natural daylight and comfy sofa with coffee table
